The developer of Bamti One Path (formerly One Path) does not collect personal information that identifies you, such as your name or contact details. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no servers. All game progress is stored only on your device. The app does show ads, so the ad provider (Google) collects information separately in order to serve them, and to fix and improve the app it receives anonymous usage statistics and crash reports through Google Firebase. That scope is described below.
1. What the app stores on your device
The following is kept only on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. Deleting the app deletes it.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Progress | How far you got on each seed, and your best level |
| Puzzle cache | Pre-generated boards. Generation is deterministic, so this is purely a cache |
| Skill & tier points | Numbers used for difficulty estimation and tier calculation |
| Challenge records | Speedrun completion times |
| Settings | Current seed, tutorial state, last hint time, ad pacing |
None of this includes personally identifiable information — no name, email, phone number, location, contacts, or photos.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app serves interstitial and rewarded ads through Google AdMob. Google and its partners may collect and use the following to serve, measure, and protect against fraud in advertising:
- Advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID, iOS IDFA/IDFV)
- Approximate location inferred from IP address (country/region level)
- Device model, OS version, language settings
- Ad interaction records such as impressions and clicks
This collection is governed by Google's policies, and the developer of this app does not have access to that data. The developer only sees aggregated revenue and impression statistics in the AdMob console, which contain no personally identifiable information.
See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the AdMob data disclosure for details.
Consent and your choices
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google's User Messaging Platform asks for your consent to personalised ads on first launch. Declining does not affect the game; you will see non-personalised ads.
- On iOS, the app requests App Tracking Transparency permission. If you decline, ads are shown without tracking identifiers. Gameplay is unaffected.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings > Google > Ads.
3. Usage statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase)
To make the game better, the app uses Google Firebase Analytics (usage statistics) and Crashlytics (crash and error reporting). The following is sent to Google's servers:
- In-app usage events — puzzle start and clear (level, board size, difficulty, time taken, whether a hint was used), challenge completion, hint use, ad views, and settings changes
- An app instance ID (a random identifier assigned per installation), plus device model, OS version, language/region settings, and app version
- Technical details when the app crashes or hits an error (error message, stack trace, device state)
This does not include information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email, or phone number, and the developer only sees aggregated statistics and crash reports, not individuals. It is used only to improve the game and fix bugs — never sold or used to personalise ads. The data is processed and retained under Google's policies (Analytics event data for up to 14 months, Crashlytics crash reports for 90 days). See the Firebase privacy documentation for details.
4. Payments
This app has no in-app purchases. It never receives or stores card numbers or any payment information.
Game Center
On iOS, scores you submit to the leaderboards (tier and level) follow Apple Game Center's policies. Your Game Center nickname and scores are managed by Apple; the app sends nothing but the score.
5. Children
This app is not directed at any particular age group and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a child uses the device, we recommend that a guardian turn off ad personalisation in the device settings.
6. Retention and deletion
Everything the app stores lives locally on the device. Deleting the app deletes it. Usage statistics and crash reports sent to Firebase cannot identify you and are deleted automatically after the periods in section 3. Access and deletion of advertising data follow Google's policies. If you would like your usage statistics deleted, contact us below.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, this page is updated and the effective date at the top is revised. Significant changes are also announced inside the app.
